Student Success Statement James E. Faust

Student Success Statement
“When obedience becomes our goal, it is no longer an irritation; instead of a stumbling block, it becomes a building block.”
~James E. Faust

When you choose in doing the right many good things can happen to anyone. For example if you lose your wallet and you are worried and someone finds it and gives it back to you will be amazed and that person that found your wallet is proud of himself of doing what was right. you never know when things happen suddenly. You can make others feel proud when they are sad. Our goal is to help others and obey to the elders. Building a block is a way of obedience.

Student Success Statement alexander pope

Student Success Statement
“Act well your part; there all honor lies.”
~Alexander Pope
When do the right things in front of others they will make fun of you but you will show them a lesson. When doing the right other people can learn from your actions. Showing honor can show respect and kindness to the people out there. Choose the right at all times. For example when you do your part on your project and you don’t do yours then you didn’t do your part. It makes feel bad that you didn’t do it but you will learn from that mistake.

Honor vs Integrity student success statement

Honor vs Integrity
We saw a video that was about people being tempted. That person was Abraham Lincoln. He went for a walk with his good friend and Lincoln refused to drink whiskey that his friend offered him. He refused a cigar and more bad things and his friend asked why. Lincoln would never smoke or drink in his life.

Saying no is hard sometimes but we have to learn from what is good and bad. Doing bad things can take you to death, negative words, no respect, and loss of friends. When you do good things you will proceed and get many positive things. Choose the right and say no when its necessary.

assembly summary

Assembly Summary
The assembly was really funny and I liked it. It was mostly about behavior, keeping the school clean, be organized, be respectful, honor, being on time, come to school prepared, wearing uniform, and choose the right. Teachers were acting this out and they showed us how to do many things. They showed videos about how to be respectful, how to be on time, how to be clean and how to be ready to learn.
