Student Success Statement

This statement is good for me because there is times where I get bad dreams and sometimes I think that it’s really happening or sometimes I just pinch myself to see if I am awake. There are good dreams and bad dreams. Some dreams that are good are maybe because you chose the right and you didn’t have to deal with any problem. When it’s a bad dream it’s when you did something bad and you day was the worst cause of the bad thing you did. Always choose the right because you might not like the dream with action or bad nightmares. CTR.

Duties and Responsibilities: Nuclear Medicine Technologists prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals (radioactive substances) to detect and treat disease.  They then position equipment over patients to make images.  These pictures allow physicians to identify abnormal areas.

Average Salary: $28,000 - $42,000

Educational Requirement: Nuclear medicine technology training programs vary in length from one to four years.  One year programs that lead to certification are offered by hospitals.  Associate and bachelor degrees are offered in colleges and universities.  Courses include training in safety, radiation procedures, physical science, and effects of radiation to the body and organs, and computer techniques.

Glenn Cunningham

Glenn Cunningham had burned his legs in a terrible fire accident. His brother, Floyd, had dies at the age 13 cause of the fire. He got burned up. Glenn went to the hospital and the doctors had to amputate his legs but he was distressed so his parents didn’t let him get his legs cut off. Later that day he started to walk again and tried running and he set a goal. He actually accomplishes his goal and was proud of it. I can relate to this by me when I had broken my arm and I wanted to be quarterback for flag football and once I recovered my arm I couldn’t throw that well but one day I did. I threw the ball good that I tried out for quarterback and I made it. I was the best qb back then and maybe now but I think I still got the arm. Dream big because you can do it.

Some people fall easily when they think bad about themselves. Adversity can take you too many bad things that you don’t want to happen. Some take adversity as to break a record or accomplish something that they really want. For example the jv soccer team we are trying our best to keep this wins, to keep wining. We don’t want to lose but we win as a team. Always choose the right.

Monitor Surveillance Technician

Duties and Responsibilities: Monitor surveillance technicians observe the electrical activity of heartbeats which is graphically displayed on a series of monitors in cardiac care units of hospitals.  They examine these patterns and provide the results to physicians and nursing staff.  

Average Salary: $26,000 - $41,000

Educational Requirement: Students wanting to become Monitor Surveillance Technicians should take math, science, and computer technology courses in high school. Upon graduation from high school they may enroll in training programs at vocational schools, community colleges, or hospitals.  Program length varies from three months to two years.

I say maybe because there are so many careers that are named this so I would say yes but if it has to do with saving people lives.

If you want to do something right you have to take out what you got to do or reach your goal. It takes time to do it right but you have to outdo yourselves in order to do it. Inspiration should not come from the brain it should come from the heart. Why? It should because it would make others outdo themselves and they will follow the inspiration you gave them and they will accomplish it. They will thank you because you made their life happier. Always choose the right.

Health Sciences librarian

Duties and Responsibilities:   Librarians select and acquire books, journals, and other library material.  They also establish electronic and digital database information systems.  They organize this information into collections and develop catalogs for access and provide reference assistance to patrons.  They coordinate and control budgets and supervise library technicians.

Average Salary: $20,000 - $30,000 (Library Technicians) 

$35,000 - $55,000 (Librarians)

Educational Requirement:  Students should take challenging high school courses in information management, science, math, and English.

Health sciences library technician training varies by employer.  Some provide on the job training, but all prefer that students complete library technician programs at a community college or technical school.  Associate's degrees can be earned in many of these programs.
