licensed practical nurse

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Duties and Responsibilities: Licensed practical nurses (LPNs) work with and under the direction of registered nurses and physicians. They care for injured, handicapped, and sick patients. Their duties include taking temperatures, blood pressures, and pulses. They also give injections, change dressings, and help give patients baths. In general, they care for patients in hospitals, nursing homes, and extended care facilities.

Average Salary: $16,000 - $23,000

Educational Requirement: Although a high school diploma or GED certificate is not always required, it is encouraged.  LPNs do not have the extensive professional education that is required for a registered nurse.  State approved training programs are offered by the hospitals, vocational schools, junior colleges and private schools.

CHOOSE THE RIGHT!!!
Do you think you would like to be one?
I say maybe yes because a nurse tells people if their health is good or not and give the right medicine to take and tell to be health so it’s a yes.

paul bear Bryant student success statement

Student Success Statement
“It’s not the will to win, but the will to PREPARE to win that makes a difference.”
~Paul Bear Bryant
What I think this means is that you don’t need to win to be successful, when you prepare to win that means that you try hard give the best out of it in order to win. Playing a sport mostly everyone wants to win but preparing for the win can help a lot. Using the school spirit and the success of the team you can make the win. Winning is not easy. Choose the right in order to win something. Play fare in order to win also prepare your self practice hard to win. Choose the right.

Paul ‘Bear’ Bryant

In this Sept. 1980, file photo, Alabama head coach Paul 'Bear' Bryant appears during an NCAA college football game. There are hats on the heads of more than half the coaches pictured in both NFL and college halls of fame, as well as sports coats, ties and even the occasional bow tie completing the look. Some looked so distinct – Bryant comes to mind – that even decades later, you could identify them just by seeing their profiles. (AP Photo/Joe Holloway Jr.)

Paul William "Bear" Bryant was an American college football player and coach. He was best known as the longtime head coach of the University of Alabama football team. During his 25-year tenure as Alabama's head coach, he amassed six national championships and thirteen conference championships. Upon his retirement in 1982, he held the record for most wins as head coach in collegiate football history with 323 wins. At the University of Alabama, the Paul W. Bryant Museum, Paul W. Bryant Hall, Paul W. Bryant Drive and Bryant–Denny Stadium are all named in his honor. He was also known for his trademark black and white hounds-tooth or gingham hat, deep voice, casually leaning up against the goal post during pre-game warm-ups, and frequently holding his rolled-up game plan while on the sidelines.
Before arriving at Alabama, Bryant was head football coach at the University of Maryland, the University of Kentucky, and Texas A&M University. Of the schools he coached, Maryland is the only one not currently a member of the Southeastern Conference.
